渐新马属（学名：Mesohippus），又名间马属，是一属已灭绝的早期马。牠们生存于4000-3000万年前始新世晚期至渐新世中期。牠们在北美洲非常普遍。
特征
渐新马的脚比始祖马高了约60厘米。牠们缺少了一只脚趾，主要以中趾站立。[1]渐新马的面也较其他早期马科长。牠们头颅骨有轻微的凹陷处。牠们的眼睛较始祖马的较圆，双眼分开得较远及位于较后的位置。
渐新马的门齿后有一道空隙，像现今马衔的位置，这是其他早期马科所没有的。再者，牠们也多了一只磨齿，共有六只。渐新马会吃树枝及水果。[1]牠们的颅腔明显比其祖先的大，估计脑部与现今的马相似。
