清白专案（Innocence Project），是美国、加拿大、英国、澳洲和新西兰的一个非营利法律组织，利用基因鉴定方法证明被错判有罪的人的清白，并且改革刑事司法系统，调查并宣传出现冤狱的原因，避免将来出现不公[4]。
最早的清白专案是由后来参与辛普森案的贝里·薛克（Barry C. Scheck）和彼得·内费尔德（Peter Neufeld）在1992年建立，是叶史瓦大学本杰明·卡多佐法学院的其中一部分。2003年，清白专案成为独立的非营利组织，但仍维持与卡多索法学院紧密的学术联系。清白专案的成立，是因为卡多佐法学院、美国司法部和美国参议院的一个联合研究，该研究发现目击证人的误认是造成逾70%错判的原因[5]。
截至2010年8月9日，共有258名美国人被误判重罪，并因清白专案而获得澄清。这些案件大部分涉及不同的性侵犯，还有约25%涉及了谋杀[6]。
