洞庭

洞庭，中国江苏省太湖中的两个岛：东洞庭和西洞庭，又分别叫东山和西山。

洞庭孤立在太湖之中，古代农民采取集约耕作，果树、蚕桑都兴盛，橘树尤其著名，号称“洞庭红”。洞庭居民许多外出经商，深入各地，明朝时号称“钻天洞庭”，主要贩卖布匹、药物、粮食等，亦经营典当业。民国时，上海钱庄的“山帮”，即以洞庭商人为主。[1]
