民报 (1945年)
《民报》发刊于1945年10月10日，是二战后由台湾人创办的第一份民营中文报纸。创社社员大多来自《台湾新报》与其前身之一的《台湾民报》。由其发刊日可见其认同祖国与欢迎国民政府之心情与立场。《民报》于1947年二二八事件爆发后，3月8日被迫停刊，社长林茂生遭逮捕失踪，发行期间未满17个月，为研究二二八事件前后台湾史之珍贵史料。[1][2]
