条纹似牙䱛为辐鳍鱼纲鲈形目鲈亚目石首鱼科的其中一种，分布东大西洋区，从几内亚比绍至安哥拉南部海域，栖息深度可达160米，体长可达60公分，栖息在沿海泥底质海域，属肉食性，可做为食用鱼。
