格利泽1Gliese-Jahreiss 1或GJ 1)是在南半球玉夫座内的一颗红矮星。它是最靠近太阳的恒星之一,距离大约是14.2光年。但是它的视星等只有8.5等,因为太暗必须借助于望远镜才能看见[2]

性质

根据同的资料来源,这颗恒星的分类在M1.5V到M4.0V之间[13]。估计格利泽1的质量是太阳的45–48%[7][8]半径是太阳的46–48%[9]

这颗恒星被确认是天龙座BY变星,变星标示为NSV 15017[4],它也被确认为焰星[14]。像其它的焰星一样,它辐射出X射线[15]

使用散斑干涉仪观察这颗恒星的近红外线光谱,被解释为有一颗伴星在轨道上环绕着。但是,在距离主星1天文单位的距离内没有发现比10.5等亮的天体,在10天文单位以内没有比12.5等亮的天体[16]。径向速度的测量也未能查出存在轨道上环绕着的伴星。这些观测排除了在适居带内有数个地球质量的行星,在1天文单位或更近的轨道距离内也没有木星质量的行星。精确度达到20m/s的径向速度的测量显示很小,甚至没有变化[17]

这颗恒星的空间速度分量分别是:U = +77.2,V = -99.5,和W = -35.6 km/s.[18]。它以离心率0.45的轨道环绕银河系,与银河核心的距离变化从3,510到9,150秒差距。相比之下,太阳目前与银河核心的距离是8,500秒差距[19]。具有高本动速度的恒星被称为速逃星。这颗恒星的本动速度达到111.38公里/秒,并且这颗星的速度向量可与杜鹃-时钟和/或剑鱼座AB星协相联结[12]

由于它的赤经位置非常接近历元1950.0分点的原点,因此在格利泽近星星表鲁坦星表都是第一颗恒星[20][21]
