东周惠公

东周惠公，姓姬，名班^{[注 1]}，又名根^{[注 2]}，又名杰^{[注 3]}，西周威公少子^{[注 4]}，西周惠公之弟。西周威公死后，公子根在东部争立，从西周国分裂出东周国，成为东周国第一任君主。

《史记·六国年表》周显王九年（前360年）注引《纪年》，该年东周惠公去世。

前任： —	东周国君主前367年－前360年	继任：东周昭文君

^ 《史记索隐·周本纪》引《世本》、《史记正义·周本纪》引郭缘生《述生记》转引《史记》、《太平御览》卷85引《帝王世纪》。

^ 《史记集解》、《史记正义》都认为东周惠公是西周惠公之子，但《汉书·古今人表》记载东周惠公是西周威公之子，周勋初《韩非子札记》根据《吕氏春秋·先识览》、《说苑·权谋》记载西周威公死后国分为二以及《韩非子·难三》、《韩非子·内储说下·说五》记载公子根分裂西周国的记载，认为东周惠公是西周威公的儿子。
