暂定古迹 (香港)

暂定古迹是香港历史建筑评级制度的一部分，适用于未成为香港法定古迹（因而不获法定保护）但急需法定保护的历史建筑。

当政府认为历史建筑需要即时的法定保护（例如拆卸或改建工程），发展局局长可在咨询古物咨询委员会后将有关建筑列为暂定古迹，为期12个月。除非暂定古迹并非位于私人土地，否则期限不得延展[1]。《古物及古迹条例》对法定古迹的管制均适用于暂定古迹。行政上，政府通常会利用一年期限与业主商讨可行的保育方案[2]。

除宣布历史建筑为暂定古迹外，建筑事务监督（屋宇署署长）亦有权按照《建筑物条例》第23条命令停止建筑工程。[2]
