新西兰鹌鹑（学名：Coturnix novaezelandiae）是自1875年就已灭绝的鹌鹑。雄鹑与雌鹑相似，但雌鹑较浅色。新西兰鹌鹑最初是由约瑟夫·班克斯在跟随詹姆斯·库克第一次旅程中描述的。第一个标本是由让·勒内·康斯特·盖伊及Joseph Paul Gaimard在跟随迪蒙·迪尔维尔（Dumont D'Urville）的旅程中，于1827年所采集的。新西兰鹌鹑有时被认为与澳洲鹌鹑是同一物种。
梅西大学的研究发现在蒂利蒂利马唐伊岛的鹌鹑并非新西兰鹌鹑的余种，更不是新西兰鹌鹑及褐鹌鹑的混种。[2]研究亦发现新西兰鹌鹑与澳洲鹌鹑有亲密的系统发生学关系，但明显是独立的物种。
