斯特藩-玻尔兹曼常数

斯特藩-玻尔兹曼常数(又称斯特藩常数),一个用希腊字母σ标记的物理常量,用于斯特藩-玻尔兹曼定律

此定律说明一个黑体表面单位面积在单位时间辐射出的总能量(称为物体的辐射度或能量通量密度)与黑体本身的热力学温度的四次方成正比,其中的比例系数就是此常数。

的值为5.670 367(13)×10−8 W/m2K4[1]。本值既能被推导,亦能被实验测定;见斯特藩-玻尔兹曼定律

σ的定义能以玻尔兹曼常数表示:

其中普朗克常数为约化普朗克常数,而则是真空中光速

斯特藩-玻尔兹曼常数CODATA建议值是由气体常数计算出来的:
