抱瓮老人

抱瓮老人（?—?），中国明朝南直隶姑苏人，真名不详，编有《今古奇观》一书。

有鉴于“三言”（《喻世明言》、《警世通言》、《醒世恒言》）、“二拍”（《初刻拍案惊奇》、《二刻拍案惊奇》）卷帙浩繁，坊间不易购得且良莠不齐，抱瓮老人选出其中佳作四十篇编成《今古奇观》，姑苏笑花主人为之作序。出版后大受读者欢迎，历久不衰。

《今古奇观》书前题有“墨憨斋手定”，因此抱瓮老人可能是冯梦龙的朋友。[1]
