戈洛文陨石坑（Golovin）是位于月球背面北半部一座年轻的大撞击坑，约形成于38-32亿年前的晚雨海世[1]，其名称取自美国火箭科学家尼古拉斯·伊拉斯谟·戈洛文（Nicholas Erasmus Golovin，1912年－1969年），1970年被国际天文学联合会批准接受。
描述
[编辑]该陨坑西侧毗邻冯·诺伊曼环形山、西北偏西及西北分别靠近莱伊环形山和更大的坎贝尔环形山、朗之万环形山和钱德勒环形山位于它的东北偏北和东北面，它的东南及南面分别坐落了赫顿陨石坑和斯特恩斯陨石坑，而阿普尔顿环形山则横亘在西南[2]。该陨坑中心月面坐标为39°45′N 161°14′E / 39.75°N 161.24°E，直径37.9公里[3]，深度约2.1公里[1]。
戈洛文陨石坑外观接近圆形，西北侧有一处小突角，坑壁保存完整，未覆盖任何较注目的撞击坑。陨坑内侧壁相对较宽，沿壁顶显示有坍塌的痕迹。坑壁平均高出周边地形1000米[1]，内部容积约有1000立方千米[1]。碗状的坑底相对平坦，中心附近分布有一群小山丘。
