武汉的悬挂式单轨

悬挂式单轨(在多特蒙德,它被称作H-Bahn,是Hängebahn的缩写(意思是悬挂式铁路英语suspension railway);在杜塞尔多夫,它被称作Sky train(意思是空中列车)),又称空轨,是一个车辆悬挂在单根梁上运行的单轨系统[1]。现代悬挂式单轨系统始由德国公司西门子开发与制造,因此此类产品又被命名为SIPEM(Siemens People Mover,西门子式旅客捷运系统)。最早它在德国有两个线路,一个在多特蒙德大学校园,另一个在杜塞尔多夫机场。虽然西门子不再积极推销该系统,也不再进行交钥匙工程,但与多特蒙德运营公司合作,仍然可以进行新的安装。

2007年后,由于将注意力全部集中于新购并的马特拉公司所开发出来的VAL轨道系统技术的市场化,西门子也就不再倍加关注空轨系统的市场营销,但该项技术设备仍然在投入安装建设。2009年,莫斯科的商务区就引入了该轨道系统,多特蒙德的业务公司则在此充当了技术顾问。2012年中华人民共和国两会上,政协委员冯幸耘提出《关于采用空中轨道交通系统缓解城市交通困难的建议》,温州天津上海济南合肥洛阳石家庄北京等城市有意建设该种轨道系统[2]
