性别分工（英语：Sexual division of labour，缩写：SDL）是指人类物种中男性和女性成员之间不同任务的委派。在人类狩猎采集社会中，男性和女性负责取得不同类型的食物，并为了共同或家庭利益而相互分享[1]。在某些物种中，雄性和雌性吃的食物略有不同，而在其他物种中，雄性和雌性通常会分享食物；但只有人类才结合了这两种属性。世界上仅存的少数狩猎采集族群可以作为演化模型，帮助解释性别劳动分工的起源[2] 。许多关于劳动性别分工的研究都是针对狩猎采集族群进行的，例如坦桑尼亚的狩猎采集族群哈札人[3]。在现代社会，不同文化中都存在着职业上的性别差异，男性倾向于从事技术工作，女性倾向于从事与护理相关的工作[4]。
