张臶

张臶（jiàn）（136年—240年），字子明，钜鹿郡人。汉末三国时隐士。

生平

张臶年少时到太学游历学习，学习了很多方面的东西，后来回到钜鹿。袁绍曾经多次辟命张臶，但他都不应命，更移居上党。并州刺史高干又表他为乐平县令，张臶又不接受，走到常山，后又迁居任县，其间收了数百个门徒。

建安十三年（208年）六月，曹操被任命为丞相，此时辟命张臶，又不应。太和年间，诏命征求有消灾排难之法的隐学之士，多个郡县都推举张臶，但张臶则以老病为由不到朝廷。当时新任广平太守卢毓都曾劝张珔任官。

正始元年（240年）逝世，享年一百零五岁。新任广平太守王肃知道张臶逝世的消息，大叹可惜。
