平头猪（Platygonus）是一属已灭绝的猪形动物。

平头猪长约1米，比现今的野猪较长，牠的脚长适合奔跑。牠有像猪的鼻端，可以对抗掠食者的长獠牙。

平头猪是群居的动物，像现今的西猯般是成群生活的。牠们分布在加拿大南部至墨西哥及美国加利福尼亚州至宾夕凡尼亚州与南美洲。牠们出现于更新世的卡拉布里亚阶，最早的可追溯至中新世^[1]。
