它成立于1967年，当时名为Barcelona Amateur，它在1993年以“巴塞罗那C队”的名字命名。与英格兰联赛不同，西班牙的青年队与高级队踢的是同一支足球金字塔，而不是单独的联赛。 但是，青年队和预备队不能与高级队参加同一部门。
