巨型巨猿（学名：Gigantopithecus giganteus）是一种大型已灭绝的猿，生存于现今的印度。其种加词“Giganteus”意为“巨大的”。
巨型巨猿的化石只有牙齿及颚骨。基于其纤细的化石，巨型巨猿是一种很大型，生活在陆地上的草食性动物，主要吃竹及树叶。牠只有中国的步氏巨猿的一半体型。
