巨人霸市（GCH Retail (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd，商业名称Giant Mall）是一个大型连锁超市品牌和零售商连锁店，目前业务范围在马来西亚及新加坡（曾在文莱[1]、印尼、柬埔寨及越南[2]营运）。2016年，巨人霸市成为马来西亚最大连锁超市集团[3]。

- 1944年，Giant在吉隆坡成立，当时是一家小杂货店。
- 1974年，Giant在孟沙开设Teng Minimarket Centre(TMC)，规模逐渐扩大[4]。
- 1999年，DFI零售集团购买了Giant90%的股权，Teng Family保留其余股权[5]。随后，Giant成为了Dairy Farm International Holdings Limited 的子公司，并更名为 GCH Retail (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd[6]。
- 截至2003年，该连锁店已开有8家Giant霸级市场、10家超级市场以及3家冷藏公司超市。
- 2011年12月，GCH Retail进军越南[7] 。
- 2016年，巨人霸市成为马来西亚最大连锁超市集团。
- 自2017年开始，由于运营成本高昂、消费者支出疲软以及来自小型超市、零售商和电子商务的激烈竞争，Giant及其在马来西亚的店铺销量不佳[8]。
- 2018年2月，集团将其位于越南的大卖场Asia Investment Supermarket Trading Co. Ltd. (AISTC) 的100%股权出售给欧尚零售（越南）[9]。至此，GCH Retail在越南的业务终止[10][11]。
- 2019年，GCH Retail结束了七家马来西亚半岛门店的营业（分别是在雪兰莪的2家霸级市场和2家冷藏公司超市分店以及在吉打、霹雳和吉隆坡各1家分店）[12]，同时完全退出沙巴和砂拉越（即把两州的16家店铺的业务转移给当地商店），[13]。
- 同年，GCH Retail关闭了位于新加坡黄埔区 Bukit Panjang 和 Jalan Tenteram 的两家问店及位于怡丰城和Parkway Parade的大型超市[14]。
- 截至2020年，GCH Retail 由 Syarikat Pesaka Antah Sdn Bhd（一家由森美兰王室控制的公司）持有 30% 的股份，其余 70% 的股份则由DFI零售集团持有[15][16]。同年，马来西亚大多数Giant市场全被同发超值市场（TF Value Mart）收购而被取代。
- 2020年9月24日，Giant Singapore 宣布将进行品牌重塑，包括引入新徽标和新功能。此外，Giant Singapore 亦效仿新加坡职工总会平价合作社，在未来六个月内将日常必需品的价格平均降低20%，以减轻在COVID-19大流行期间新加坡人的经济负担[17]。
- 2021年4月，Giant Malaysia开始品牌重塑，包括引入了一个名为“Ringgit Zone”的区域（区域内的所有产品定价为RM3），[18]以及把ShopSmart和G-Ekspres改为Giant Mini.[19]
- 2021年5月，GCH Retail宣布印尼的业务将于2021年7月31日起终止。[20][21][22]。
- 2023年2月23日，Giant的母公司DFI零售集团宣布，由于竞争日益激烈，集团将退出马来西亚的杂货零售市场[23]。因此，DFI出售马来西亚的杂货业务出售给Macrovalue Sdn Bhd[24]。但保留在新加坡的Giant及Cold Storage的拥有权。
- 收购后，Macrovalue 于 2023年3月21日宣布，为增加流量并减少损失，Giant Hypermarket 将更名为 Giant Mall。[25]
