遗体保存技术（英语：Embalming）指通过化学药物及其他科学技术的方法，将人的遗体作短期或长期保存，防止遗体腐烂。[1]
常见的技术或方法
[编辑]- 生物塑化技术或人体塑化技术，把动物或人类的遗体制作成为标本，并长久保存的技术。[2]
- 人体冷冻技术，把人体冷冻在零下196度的液态氮中，作长久保存，并期待在医疗科技先进的未来，可以把其遗体还原及复活。
- 木乃伊，古埃及人保留遗体及防腐的方式。
- 水晶棺， 用水晶玻璃造的棺材，作长期保存遗体的方式。
- 香料防腐，传统的遗体防腐方式。
- 真空防腐方法保存。
- 干燥防腐方法保存。
