孔雀锦鱼，为辐鳍鱼纲鲈形目隆头鱼亚目隆头鱼科的其中一种，分布于东大西洋区，从葡萄牙至加蓬海域，包括地中海，栖息深度1-150米，体长可达25公分，栖息在海草生长的礁石区海域，通常独居性，以小型软体动物及甲壳类为食，生活习性不明，可作为食用鱼及观赏鱼。
