基底细胞癌（Basal-cell carcinoma,BCC）或称基底细胞瘤，是最常见的皮肤癌症[2]。患者的皮肤通常会先长出一块无痛的隆起部分，其上可能布有具光泽的蛛网纹或是溃疡[1]。此种癌症的生长速度缓慢，并会损伤其周边的组织，但不太可能出现远端转移，也不太会直接导致死亡[7]。
危险因子包括紫外线暴露、肤色较浅、接受放射线疗法、长期砷暴露、以及免疫缺陷[2]。孩童时期的紫外线暴露尤其有害[5]。近期日晒床也逐渐成为另一个常见的紫外线暴露源[8]。基底细胞癌的诊断通常奠基于皮肤检查，但确诊则需靠活体组织切片[2][3]。
目前尚不清楚擦防晒油是否会影响得到基底细胞癌的风险[9]。治疗普遍是靠手术切除。如果癌症的范围很小，可能进行单纯的切除，否则一般会建议进行莫氏手术[2]。其他治疗选项包括冷冻疗法、局部化学疗法、激光手术，或是涂抹咪喹莫特。在少数发生远端转移的案例中，也可能会使用化学治疗或标靶治疗[10]。
基底细胞癌至少占全球癌症总数的32%[7][11]。在非黑色素瘤的皮肤癌中，基底细胞癌至少占了80%。在美国，约有35%的白人男性和25%的白人女性在一生中曾经得过基底细胞癌[2]。
