乔治·盖洛德·辛普森（英语：George Gaylord Simpson，1902年6月16日—1984年10月6日）是一位美国古生物学家。他的专长为以灭绝的哺乳类，与牠们在大陆之间的迁徙。同时他也是现代综合理论的奠基者之一。在演化领域的主要著作包括《进化的速度和样式》（Tempo and Mode in Evolution）与论文《分类规则与哺乳类分类》（Principles of Classification and a Classification of Mammals）等。辛普森对进化论中的疾变平衡（punctuated equilibrium）概念的建构也有所参与。
