陆军上校乔治·埃佛勒斯爵士（英语：Colonel Sir George Everest，1790年7月4日—1866年12月1日）是威尔士克里克豪厄尔出身的探险家、地理学家。完成威廉·兰姆顿（William Lambton）始于1806年的沿子午线弧从印度南端往北到尼泊尔的测量。1830年至1843年任印度测量局局长。1843年，返回英国，获选为皇家学会会员。1862年，任皇家地理学会副会长。1866年，逝于伦敦。
1852年，印度测量局在喜马拉雅山脉发现称为“15号峰（PeakXV）”的世界第一高峰。1865年，在当地称呼不详的情况下，由当时的测量局局长安德鲁·史考特·华欧（Andrew Scott Waugh）命名为“埃佛勒斯峰”，以纪念前任局长埃佛勒斯。
其侄女为数学家玛丽·埃佛勒斯·布尔。
