哈德逊河谷

哈德逊河谷（Hudson Valley）或译哈德逊谷是美国纽约州哈德逊河周围形成的一条河谷，此谷北起奥尔巴尼和特洛伊，南至扬克斯。[1]
地理
哈德逊河流自北向南经纽约州东部、将此地南部的一系列三叠纪砂岩和红层以及更古老的北部的前寒武纪片麻岩侵蚀成一条河谷。最终在哈德逊高地流入冰河时期形成的峡湾。往西则是阿巴拉契亚高地。在塔潘齐（Tappan Zee）地区，河西耐侵蚀而高耸的辉绿岩形成了独特的景观，这段的悬崖高度约在400—800英尺（120—240米）之间。[2]
哈得逊河谷是阿巴拉契亚山岭及河谷的一部分，北部属于东大湖区和哈德逊低地。[3] 在冰河时期，河谷里的巨大冰川直抵长岛。[4]
