含羞草亚科（学名：Mimosoideae），为豆目豆科的一个亚科[2]，约有80属3000多种。
形态

特征为花序乃许多辐射对称的小花，聚合成头状花序，花药多数，花丝通常有颜色，比花瓣显著，常作为园艺观赏用。多为乔木或灌木，少数为草本植物，叶为羽状复叶；花的花瓣3-6，花被小，花蕊长而突出；果实为荚果。有些类群具有假叶，为叶柄特化形成叶状，只有在种子发芽长出第一片叶具有羽状复叶，这种特征在植物初期可见后来消失被称为返祖现象。
分类
[编辑]在旧有的分类系统，像是1982年的克朗奎斯特分类法，本类群为一独立科含羞草科（Mimosaceae），有5亚科约56属2800余种。1998年依分子学研究建立的APG 分类法，将本类群列为豆科下的一亚科。其中球花豆族（Parkieae）被并入含羞草族。
