同翅亚目
同翅亚目（学名：Homoptera），亦作同翅目，原是半翅目之下两个亚目之一，但由于部分分类学家认为这个亚目是一个并系群，现已不再使用[1][2][3]。原属本亚目的分类单元，现时被分派到下列三个亚目[4][5][6]：
在早期的分类学上被分至“同翅目”或“同翅亚目”的物种，因为当时基于细胞核DNA的研究显示，“同翅目”与半翅目属于并系群[5]，因此 Homoptera 现在已成为无效名称。 but more recent phylogenetic analysis using mitochondrial DNA suggest that Homoptera may be a monophyletic group after all, a sister group of Heteroptera.[5] The cause of the disparity in the analyses is suggested to be the long branch attraction effect in phylogenetic analysis, due to rapidly evolving DNA regions.[5]
同翅亚目包括半翅目下的几个类群（包括蝉、蜡蝉、青翅飞虱（蛾蜡蝉类）、圆飞虱、广翅蜡蝉、角蝉、蚜虫、木虱、叶蝉、介壳虫、稻虱等），这些物种都有一个可吸啜的口器。
