加拿大观察到的“史蒂夫”

史蒂夫(英语:Strong Thermal Emission Velocity Enhancement,简称:STEVE)是一种大气光学现象,是一种出现在天空中的紫色及绿色光带,由加拿大亚伯塔省极光观察者于2016年底所命名。根据科学家欧洲空间局Swarm卫星的数据分析,史蒂夫是由海拔450公里,温度摄氏3,000度且以每秒6公里的速度流动的热等离子带所引起的。史蒂夫这种现象并不罕见,但以前从未被仔细研究[1][2][3]
