斯坦福哲学百科全书
《斯坦福哲学百科全书》（英语：Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy，SEP）是一部由斯坦福大学营运的免费线上哲学百科全书，内容主要以经同行评审认可的论文为主。该百科内的每一篇论文均由一位该领域的专家撰写并维护，作者涵盖来自世界各地学术机构的教授。每一位在该百科全书上发表文章的作者均同意将作品的出版权让与斯坦福大学，但作者仍可保有著作权[1]。
历史与概述
斯坦福哲学百科全书内含有1,554篇出版论文。虽然为线上运作，但斯坦福哲学百科编辑群仍会邀集该论文涵盖领域的专家学者进行同行评审，并借由这种与多数百科全书及学术期刊相同的审查方式以确保论文品质。
该百科于1995年由斯坦福大学语言资讯研究中心资深研究员爱德华·萨尔塔创办，其运作目标为提供一部时常更新且不会像传统的纸本百科全书一样过时的互动式百科全书[2]。该百科允许作者们就同一议题提出完全相反的见解，藉以反映学者间的不同意见。斯坦福哲学百科最初由美国国家科学人文基金与国家科学基金会资助运作。为了维护百科的开放获取性，斯坦福大学拟定了一项长期募资方案，并获得许多大学图书馆与图书馆协会的支持。
