参数振荡器

最早期的变容二极管参数振荡器,约略在1958年发明于贝尔实验室。这个放大器可以在400兆赫频率下达到10分贝增益。参数振荡器用于需要极低噪声的应用。

参数振荡器(英语:parametric oscillator)是一种受驱动的谐振器,其中驱动系统的参数设置在某些频率,而这频率通常与振荡器的自然频率不同。参数振荡器的一个简单例子为儿童在秋千上周期性地站立跟蹲下,来增加秋千的振荡幅度。[1][2][3]儿童的动作改变了秋千摆荡的惯量。这个驱动的频率必须是秋千自然频率的两倍。其他相关可改变的参数包括振荡器的共振频率以及阻尼

参数振荡器应用于物理学中多个领域。经典的变容二极管参数振荡器组成包括有一个半导体变容二极管,连接到共振电路或腔室共振器。驱动机制为投过改变偏压来调整二极管的电容。改变二极管电容的电路则称作“泵”(pump)或“驱动器”(driver)。在微波电路中则是用电磁波导/钇铝石榴石(YAG)为基础的参数振荡器,工作原理仍是相同。另一个重要的例子为光学参数振荡器,其将入射的镭射光波转换成两道较低频率(分别为)的出射光波。
