原生物种

原生物种（英语：indigenous species）又称本土物种（native species），在生物学中指其在该地的分布纯粹是自然演化造成的，没有人为引入的因素夹杂其中。每种野生生物都有一定的自然分布范围，在该范围内，该生物被视为是原生物种。物种有可能因人类活动而散布到原生范围之外，在这些区域该物种就会被视为外来物种。

原生物种不一定是特有种，在生物学及生态学中，特有种是指分布仅局限于某一地区的某物种，而原生物种则可能在分布于某区域的同时，亦分布于另一区域。原生物种及特有种的观念都不表示该物种一定起源或演化自该区域[1]。
