化蛇

化蛇，是中国古代传说中的妖蛇。

形象

化蛇的形象在《山海经·中山经》中有载：“又西三百里，曰阳山，多石，无草木。阳水出焉，而北流注于伊水。其中多化蛇，其状如人面而豺身，鸟翼而蛇行，其音如叱呼，见则其邑大水。”化蛇拥有一张人类的面孔，身躯如豺只，长有一双鸟类的翅膀，并以蛇的形态行动，叫声则像人类呼喝之声。而且，化蛇与另一种蛇怪担生相似，当化蛇出现时，将会在附近城邑引起大水灾。

在日本漫画作品《三只眼》中，也曾出现“化蛇”此一妖怪。
