化能生物（英语：Chemotroph），其中化能菌又分为（异养菌）和（自养菌）两大类。前者靠氧化有机物取得能量，后者则靠氧化无机物获取能量。化能生物种类繁多，从蠕虫到鱼类应有尽有。
