化学能

当电池内部物质产生化学变化,就产生了化学能。
人类饮食的生物能

化学能内能的一种,指一些需要经由化学反应释放出来的能量。例如的能量是由燃烧(与反应)释放出来的,贮存于煤里面的能量即称为化学能。电池里的化学物质,是借着化学变化而产生电能

生物里呼吸作用光合作用产生之能量,也是化学能。

由于化学能是化学反应时产生的,因此是一种隐蔽的能量,不能直接用来做,只有在发生化学变化时,才释放出来,变成热能或者其他形式的能量。
