利兹贝克特大学（英语：Leeds Beckett University），原称利兹都会大学（英语：Leeds Metropolitan University）是位于英国西约克郡利兹的公立大学，在市中心和Headingley郊区有分校区。1992年获大学地位，之前则是一所理工学院。[6]
历史

利兹贝克特大学的历史可追溯至1824年创建的利兹力学研究所，1970年形成利兹理工学院（Leeds Polytechnic）。1992年获得大学地位，改名利兹都会大学。
2013年学校董事会宣布已经向英国枢密院提交申请将大学改名为利兹贝克特大学，[7] 以纪念大学最早的校区贝克特公园，该公园则是以欧内斯特·贝克特，第二代格里姆索普男爵之名命名的，这个计划虽遭到了学生的反对，[8] 但枢密院依然在2013年11月批准了改名方案，2014年9月改现名。[9] 大学校徽本身没有发生变化，仍然采用紫色的玫瑰。

2006年11月该大学获得泰晤士高等教育的“社区贡献奖”[15]，2007年6月获评英国最环境友好的大学 [16]。
