《刀剑神域 虚空断章》（日语：ソードアート・オンライン -ホロウ・フラグメント-，英语：Sword Art Online: Hollow Fragment）是由Aquria开发、万代南梦宫游戏发行的角色扮演游戏，可在PlayStation Vita、PlayStation 4、Microsoft Windows游玩。本作以川原砾轻小说《刀剑神域》中的同名虚拟现实大型多人在线角色扮演游戏为场景，世界线独立于原作，是系列第二部游戏机游戏，承《刀剑神域 无限瞬间》之上，启《刀剑神域 失落之歌》之下。
本作重制版《刀剑神域 Re:虚空断章》和次作捆绑为《刀剑神域 导演典藏版》，可在PlayStation 4游玩，2015年7、8月在北美、欧洲、澳洲、中东发行，11月在日本发行。重制版除包含原版游戏所有内容外，还追加了新的剧情、头目、多人模式，可自定主角性别，提升了人物等级上限[6]。《刀剑神域 Re:虚空断章》个人电脑版于2018年8月21日在Steam推出。[7]

本作延续前作设定，世界线独立于原作。[8]剧情与原作〈艾恩葛朗特〉篇处于相同时间点。[9][10]
玩家控制的主角桐人被困在死亡游戏《刀剑神域》中。游戏中人物的死亡也会导致在现实中死去。[11]本作部分内容其实是前作的高清重制[12]，包含前作的楼层通关[13]，以及新的虚空区。[14][15]
玩法
本作有100多个角色供玩家选择，以陪伴玩家完成任务。[16]和前作一样，本作有大型多人在线角色扮演游戏素因。[11]游戏包含恋爱素因，并支持最多四人的多人模式。[17]
制作发行
本作于2014年4月23日在日本发行[18]，中英文字幕版于5月29日在台湾、香港、东南亚发行[19][20]本作还宣布推出仅数码发行的英语版[21][22] ，并于8月19日在北美发行[23]，8月20日在欧洲、澳洲发行。游戏经过更新，增加了30小时的内容，包括新区域、玩法、服装，同时还将等级上限从200提高至250。[24][25][26]还有以可下载内容追加的服装。[27]

本作Fami通评分为32分（满分40分）。[30]PlayStation Lifestyle将日语版评为9分（满分10分），认为该游戏有足时的内容，没有明显影响游戏体验的性能问题。[31]《海峡时报》指出本作亚洲版错误屡见，如字幕语法、拼写错误，不过还是给了8分（满分10分）。[32]有表明制作团队已意识到英译的问题，并表示后作将改进翻译。[33]
