1999年3月 - 台场分馆闭馆
2001年10月 - 本馆改建休馆（至2003年5月）
2003年5月 - 重新开馆。20周年
2006年3月 - 箱根分馆闭馆
2008年1月 - 举行25周年特别企画展
2013年5月 - 30周年闭馆
