内华达造山运动
内华达造山运动是在侏罗纪中期到白垩纪早期（1.55亿到1.45亿年前）发生于今天的北美洲西部的一系列造山运动[1]。期间至少发生过两次不同类型的造山运动。第一次是由于法拉龙板块向北美大陆板块下俯冲、产生大陆岩浆弧的碰撞造山[2]，第二次则是由多个洋内弧在北美大陆板块上增生导致的增生造山[2]。内华达造山运动总共只持续了1000万年，这在造山运动中较为罕见。[3]
