入射平面

入射平面由入射辐射的传播向量和表面的法向量定义。

入射平面(plane of incidence)又称入射面(incidence plane)、子午面(meridional plane),是在几何光学中描述反射折射平面时,其中包含入射线平面[1] (在波光学中,后者是入射波的k向量或入射线的波向量。)。

当反射是镜面反射时,就像它用于镜子或其他闪亮表面一样,反射光线位于入射平面上;当折射也发生时,折射光线也位于同一平面上。入射线、表面法线和反射线(折射线)之间的共面条件被称为反射第一定律(分别称为折射第一定律[2]
