辐射度量学当中,辐射度(英语:radiosity)是指通过放射、反射及传递“离开”一个表面的辐射功率的单位计量方式;光谱辐射度(英语:spectral radiosity)则指一个频率波长表面单位的的辐射度[1]。辐射度的国际单位制是“瓦特每平方米”(W/m2)。光谱辐射度的频率与波长分别由“瓦特每平方米每赫兹”(W·m−2·Hz−1)和“瓦特每平方米每米”(W·m−3)计量,后者一般也有使用“瓦特每平方米每纳米”(W·m−2·nm−1)计算。

对此,天文学领域里比较常用的厘米-克-秒制计量方式是“尔格每平方公分每秒”(erg·cm−2·s−1)。在除辐射度量学之外的其它物理课题中,辐射度也被称作“强度”(intensity[2],但这种用法对于辐射度量学本身而言易与辐射强度英语radiant intensity相混淆。
