2008年第二空厦完工之后,索菲亚机场的年客运量达3,230,696人。2011年4月,索菲亚机场的乘客数达282,694人,比2009年同期增加了13%[1]保加利亚有三个主要机场[2]

铁路

2005年,保加利亚国内铁路长6,238公里,其中有125公里是窄轨铁路。保加利亚的铁路网自1980年代之后就没有扩大,但有一些升级计划正在进行。保加利亚也有修建高速铁路的计划[3]
