来宗道
生平
隆庆五年（1571年）十月三日生。出身浙江萧山望族来氏。万历三十二年（1604年）登甲辰科进士，累官太子太保、礼部尚书。明熹宗朝充经筵讲官，受其重用。天启年间，与魏忠贤党人有来往，天启六年（1626年），与杨景辰等编成《三朝要典》，把东林党人打倒。崇祯元年，翰林院编修倪元璐请求毁去《三朝要典》，庚午，毁《三朝要典》。东林人士纷上疏弹劾来宗道，壬子，来宗道、杨景辰致仕。[2]倪元璐屡疏争时事，宗道笑曰: “渠何事多言，词林故事，让香茗草。”当时朝野说他是“清客宰相”。崇祯二年（1629年）被列入逆案。晚年居家。有子来咨诹，娶陈洪绶之妹。
