人造稀缺

人造稀缺(英语:Artificial scarcity)是人为创出的产品的稀缺性,指一个产品,虽然在技术上能创造大量产品,但以一些人工方法创造稀缺性。例子是垄断定价,或以一些法律行政手段或其他限制,来减少竞争。人为稀缺性会令社会带来经济上的无谓损失[1]

在资本主义制度中,企业的成功以利润来介定。根据经济的供需定律,企业为增加利润,生产商可以减少生产的手段,以非以善用资源来增加利润。这手段也可视在为人造稀缺。[2]
