中套病毒科学名:Mesoniviridae)是网巢病毒目的一个,为具包膜正单链RNA病毒,病毒颗粒直径为60-80奈米,基因组长约20,000nt,因基因组大小在网巢病毒中居中而得名,以蚊子为宿主[1][2][3]

发现历史

中套病毒科第一个被发现的病毒为2011年发表的南定病毒(NDiV),采自越南南定省的蚊子[2];同年又有另一采自科特迪瓦蚊子的病毒卡瓦利病毒(CAVV)发表[4],这两株病毒后来被认为属于同种(甲型中套病毒一型)。2013年采自越南得农省三带喙库蚊英语Culex tritaeniorhynchus的得农病毒发表,为本科第三种病毒[5],同年还有4个采自科特迪瓦蚊子的新种病毒发表[6];2014年又有4种采自澳洲[7]印尼泰国等地蚊子的本科新种病毒发表[3]
