用途

三氟甲磺酸酐可以将亚胺转换为三氟甲基磺酸酰亚胺基(NTf基)[3]

三氟甲磺酸酐可以将酚类化合物转换成三氟甲磺酸酯,其可以用于打断类的C-O键[4][5]

检定

三氟甲磺酸酐中常会含有三氟甲磺酸的杂质,三氟甲磺酸本身也是无色的液体。三氟甲磺酸酐的样本可以用19F NMR spectroscopy: −72.6 ppm来检定[6],而三氟甲磺酸是−77.3(标准CFCl3下)。

安全性

三氟甲磺酸酐是活跃的亲电体,会水解成为强酸三氟甲磺酸。对皮肤和眼睛有害[7]
