Radiogramma - bu joʻnatuvchi tomonidan ovoz yoki signal alifbosi orqali uzatiladigan va qabul qiluvchi tomonidan qogʻozga yozib olinadigan radio xabarning bir turi. Telegrammadan farqli oʻlaroq, radiogramma , uzatuvchi stantsiya tomonidan maxsus nomlanadi va uzatuvchi chastotada ishlaydigan bir nechta abonent stantsiyalariga yuborilishi mumkin. U radioning rivojlanishi davrida, simli telefon yoki telegraf liniyalari oʻtkazish imkonsiz yoki qiyin bo'lgan joylarda, masalan, tog'li hududlarda, orollarda, aerodromlarda, kemalarda, samolyotlarda, havo kemalarida, harbiylar, dengizchilar, qutb tadqiqotchilari, geologlar, arxeologlar, neftchilar, oltin konchilar, bug'uchilar, tundra tadqiqotchilari va boshqalar bilan masofaviy abonentlar bilan aloqa qilish uchun foydalanildi. Bundan tashqari, keyinchalik radiogrammalar telegraf kodidan foydalangan holda simsiz telegraf aloqasi orqali uzatiladigan telegrammalar sifatida tushunila boshlandi.

Birinchi qit'alararo radiotelegrammani qabul qiluvchi antennani o'rnatish

Birinchi qit'alararo (transatlantik) radiogramma 1901 yil 12 dekabr Guglielmo Markoni tomonidan yuborilgan xabar edi: janubi-g'arbiy Angliyaning Kornuoll shtati Poldu grafligidagi stantsiyadan taxminan 850 kHz [1] chastotada yuborilgan xabar Signal tepaligidan 150 metr balandlikka ko'tarilgan katta havo iloniga (aviator B. Radiogrammalarni qabul qilish uchun har doim radiostantsiyada navbatchi radio operatorlari ajratilgan, ular radiogrammalar matnini, ular qabul qilingan vaqtni va ular mo'ljallangan qabul qiluvchilarni jurnalga yozib olish uchun radiostantsiyada navbatchilik qilishgan.
