Gamma nurlanishining ko'p qutbliligi


Nuklidning hayajonlangan holatlari (yoki qo'zg'atilgan holatlar va asosiy holat) o'rtasidagi o'tishlar gamma kvantlarning emissiyasiga olib keladi. Ularni koʻp qutbliligi bo'yicha tasniflash mumkin. Ikki xil: elektr va magnit koʻp qutbli nurlanish. Ularning har biri elektromagnit nurlanish bo'lib, elektr va magnit maydondan iborat.

Elektr dipol nurlanishi. Dipol chizma tekisligida yotadi, vertikal yuqoriga ishora qiladi va taxminan 1 Gts chastotada tebranadi. Rang tashqi tomonga harakatlanadigan maydonning kuchini ko'rsatadi. Magnit maydon chiziqlari chizma tekisligiga perpendikulyar.

Koʻp qutubli nurlanish

Elektr dipol, kvadrupol, oktupol... nurlanish (umuman: 2 qutb nurlanishi) shuningdek, E1, E2, E3,… radiatsiya sifatida belgilanadi (odatda: E radiatsiya). [note 1]

Xuddi shunday, magnit dipol, kvadrupol, oktupol ... nurlanish (umuman: 2 ℓ qutb nurlanishi) M1, M2, M3,… radiatsiya sifatida belgilanadi (odatda: M ℓ radiatsiya).

Kvant mexanikasida burchak momenti kvantlanadi. Turli xil koʻp kutupli maydonlar burchak momentumining o'ziga xos qiymatlariga ega: E radiatsiya burchak momentini olib yuradi birliklarida  ; xuddi shunday, M radiatsiya burchak momentini olib yuradi birliklarida . Burchak momentumining saqlanishi tanlov qoidalariga, ya'ni muayyan o'tishlarda qaysi koʻp qutblar chiqarilishi yoki chiqarilmasligini belgilaydigan qoidalarga olib keladi.

Oddiy klassik taqqoslash uchun tebranuvchi dipolning rasmini ko'rib chiqing. Maksvell tenglamalariga ko'ra, magnit maydon chiziqlari bilan o'zaro bog'langan, tashqariga qarab harakatlanadigan elektr maydon chiziqlarini hosil qiladi. Bu maydon chiziqlari tizimi keyinchalik E1 nurlanishiga mos keladi. Xuddi shunday mulohazalar yuqori tartibli tebranuvchi elektr yoki magnit multipollar uchun ham amal qiladi.
