Dunxuan

Dunxuan — Xitoydagi qad. shahar, Gansu provinsiyasining chekka gʻarbida. D. 1-ming yillikda Xitoyni Jan. va Gʻarbiy Osiyo orqali Yevropa bilan bogʻlaydigan Buyuk ipak yoʻlida muhim man-zil boʻlgan. D.dan 14 km jan.-gʻarbda gʻorlarga joylashgan budda monastiri — Syanfodun ("Mingta Budda gʻori"; 353—366) bor. 480 ga yaqin gʻor saqlanib qolgan (eng kattasi Mogao, 366). 1899 y. gʻorlardan birida Xitoy, Hindiston, Markaziy Osiyo va Kichik Osiyo ya. o.da yashagan xalqlar tilida yozilgan 20 mingdan ortiq qoʻlyozma topilgan. 1907 y. bu topilmalarning koʻp qismi A. Steyn ekspeditsiyasi tomonidan Angliyaga olib ketilgan va Britaniya muzeyiga topshirilgan, bir qismi Pekin kutubxonasida saqlanmoqda.
