Axja hududidagi kichik koʻl
Fridebert Tuglas muzeyi va kutubxonasi

Axja kichik tuman (alevik) Estoniyaning janubi-sharqidagi Polva okrugi, Polva cherkovida joylashgan [1] .Axja daryosi nomi bilan atalgan, u 191-kmda joylashgan.Tallindan janubi-sharqda va Polvadan taxminan 16 km shimolda.

Ahja mulkiga eng qadimgi manbalar(nemischa: Aya) 1553 yildan buyon mavjud [2]. U 17-asrda Oxenstierna oilasiga mansub boʻlgan, ammo keyinchalik qisqartirish deb ataladigan yoʻllardan biri orqali Shvetsiya davlati tomonidan bosib olingan.

1716-yilda u Iogann Ernst Glyukning bevasi Kristina Glyukga berildi, uning oilasida boʻlajak Rossiya Ketrin I ulgʻaygan. Hozirgi ikki qavatli, barokko uslubidagi, pavilon shaklidagi asosiy kirish qismi Kristina Glyukning kuyovi boʻlgan Fransua Gilemot de Villebois [2] mulkchilik davridan boshlangan. Bino 1749-yilda qurib bitkazilgan, ehtimol Sankt-Peterburgdan kelgan usta quruvchilar tomonidan qurilgan.

1770-yilda Yakob Maykl Reynxold Lenz ikki yil davomida mulk boshqaruvchisi boʻldi. Keyinchalik u turli Boltiqboʻyi nemis oilalariga tegishli edi. Ulardan biri fon Brash edi, u manor parkida oʻz oila aʼzolari uchun dafn ibodatxonasini qurgan [3][4].
