Eve Dönüş, John Ford tarafından yönetilen bir 1940 Amerikan drama filmidir. Filmde John Wayne, Thomas Mitchell ve Ian Hunter oynuyor. Yardımcı rollerde ise Barry Fitzgerald, Wilfrid Lawson, John Qualen, Mildred Natwick ve Ward Bond'u bulunuyor.[4]

Film Dudley Nichols tarafından Eugene O'Neill'in The Moon of the Caribbees, In the Zone, Bound East for Cardiff ve The Long Voyage Home oyunlarından uyarlandı. Eugene O'Neill'in orijinal oyunları I.Dünya Savaşı sırasında yazılmıştı ve daha önceki oyunları arasındaydı. Ford, filmin hikâyesini II.Dünya Savaşı'nın ilk günlerinde belirledi.[5]

Ford'un en tanınmış eserlerinden biri olmasa da, The Long Voyage Home iyi karşılanmaya devam ediyor. Film eleştirmenleri ve akademisyenler, Gregg Toland'ın kara film estetiğini[6] ve Orson Welles'in filmi Yurttaş Kane (1941) için yaptığı çalışmayı ima eden kendine özgü sinematografisine dikkat çekiyorlar.[4]
